Josh talks about the recent improvements to the functionality of the Life Report website, (ProLifePodcast.net) as well as some changes to how we’re responding to listener mail now.
Don’t want to watch the video? Read about some of the main improvements below the jump.
1: Easy to find what you want
That useless slider is gone, and we’ve added two helpful buttons on the top left. The “episode archives” button will take you to an easy to search page with the titles of every Life Report episode ever made.
Below that is a button where you can read some of the things notable pro-lifers and pro-choice fans have written in response to our show.
2: We’ve got a tag cloud now
This cloud appears on the bottom left of every post, but doesn’t appear on the front page. (Our website theme doesn’t allow widgets on the front page.) So access this by clicking on the first post you see, and scroll down below the Facebook widget. I don’t make a tag unless there’s at least two posts that correlate to that tag.
3: Easier to comment on our posts
We’re using Disqus now, the gold standard for blog comments tools.
4: Easier to contact the show
Sadly, our @ProLifePodcast.net emails weren’t working for a long time. Not only do they work again, we’ve also got an easy contact us form on the right side of our “About Us” page.
